Dr Erin Ponton

Erin graduated with distinction from RMIT, holding a bachelor of health science (chiropractic) and a Master’s in Clinical Chiropractic.

Dr Erin is a Chiro baby and has been adjusted since only a few weeks old. When she suffered from a lower back injury while competing in gymnastics, she realised chiropractic was her first point of call regarding her health at 15. Having always been interested in sports, sports injuries, health, and well-being, Erin embarked on her chiropractic studies after completing her VCE.

Erin loves looking after patients of all ages on varying health journeys and is keenly interested in family chiropractic care from pre-conception pregnancy through post-natal, newborn, and paediatric care to adulthood. She also loves helping her patients return to their favourite sports and hobbies through her chiropractic adjustments and rehabilitation approach.

Having had two children, her understanding of the benefits of chiropractic care during pregnancy and beyond is even more apparent through her now personal experience.

Chiropractic care from Dr Erin utilises many different adjusting techniques, including Manual Adjustments, force adjustments including Drop Piece and actuator, Sacro occipital technique, blocking, and cranial adjusting.

Erin also completed a FAKTR certification course, which has upped her Soft tissue treatment game using instrument-assisted soft tissue mobilisation and functional cupping techniques.

When not in practice looking after her wonderful patients, Erin is chasing after her daughter Lottie and son Miles, walking her 2 dogs, retail therapy with friends or watching her beloved Saints play football with her husband. She also loves cooking and baking in the kitchen and will never turn down a good Almond latte, espresso martini or a sneaky piece of caramel chocolate.
